Electronic Passive Drive – More info to come soon!

The Electronic Passive Linked Drive system spins the undriven axle of a 2WD vehicle at the same speed as the driven axle. This allows the ECU’s traction control system to receive speed signals from all 4 wheels that suggest the vehicle is travelling normally ‘straight down the road’ and will therefore not interfere with the torque and power delivery.

The Electronic Passive Linked Drive consists of two pods with a drive system in each and connects to the vehicle’s hubs with the same hub adapter connection as the normal Dynapack power absorption units (‘pods’).

Operation of the Electronic Passive Linked Drive system typically requires no input from the operator other than enabling or disabling the system. Once enabled, the Electronic Passive Linked Drive will continuously match the commanded front and rear wheel speeds.
